Just one of many...

My run today was rough. It's strange. It was only 2.5 miles, but it was a very long, very hard, very slow 2.5 miles. I tweeted about it, and a bloggy/twitter friend, Em, reminded me that "It's just one of many runs!" That is oh so true, and sometimes just need to be reminded of that. Thanks Em!

Dinner tonight was tasty, although I think I will make some changes next time. It was a total of 495 calories and consisted of:
  • 1 tablespoon Natural Peanut Butter (105 calories)
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce - low sodium (20 calories)
  • 1 cup Smart Taste Pasta (180 calories)
  • 3 oz Chicken Breast (145 calories)
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onion (5 calories)
  • 1/2 cup Broccoli (27 calories)
  • 1/4 cup Carrots (13 calories)

Chicken (already baked and diced), broccoli, carrots, green onion

Smart taste pasta (all I had were elbows)

Add peanut butter and soy sauce and get this...tastier than it looks

Since I used natural peanut butter (no sugar) it was a little bitter with the soy sauce. I used too much peanut butter and not enough soy sauce. I might actually add splenda the next time around. All around it was very tasty!

Winston wanted some too...

So I gave him some chicken before all the other stuff was added!

I'm way under the calorie mark today, so I might have a little desert... I have no sugar added fudgsicles around!:)
