Lift Your Sole

While training for my first half marathon I got pretty discouraged. Reading about how fast other runners were, how easy a 5 mile run (without walking) was for them, I started to get down on myself.

I was slow. I couldn't run 5 miles without walking.

I started to think "Wow, really? How am I going to finish a half marathon? I'd be luck to finish in 3 hours...3.5 hours would be more like it. There are people who finish the full marathon in that amount of time..."

Negative thoughts, I know, but I struggled with them.

I started doing some reading on way to get and stay motivated. I then stumbled across "Lift Your Sole" and was very glad I did! I fell in love with the jewelry available. About 2 months before my half marathon I purchased a necklace with a runner girl charm and a "13.1 STRONG" charm and vowed to not wear it (since I had yet to complete 13.1 miles) until I finished the race. Guess what? First thing I did after my race, I put that necklace on!

Well, they have new products! I just purchased 2 more charms as I'm gearing up for my next half marathon in October. I just bought a "13.1 shoe" charm and a "I (heart) 13.1" charm to include to my necklace!

I wear this necklace almost every day. People comment on it all the time! I get "'13.1 STRONG' what does that mean?", "Cute runner girl, you're a runner?" It gives me a little opportunity to brag about myself (which I think deep down every runner loves to do) without shouting it from the roof tops! ;)

If you're looking for a gift for a friend, or even a little token for yourself, I highly, highly recommend them! They are great and you will love their products...not just jewelry either!
