Where to begin?

I started some posts for my meals and snacks in case you want some ideas. I made them permanent link on the side of my page under "My Eats" but you can find them here as well:

Today for breakfast I made smoothies for the bf and I! So tasty. I used no sugar added frozen fruit because it's easy to make a smoothie without adding ice. The smoothie had 485 calories and consisted of:


  • 1 cup frozen Strawberries (55 calories)
  • 1 cup frozen Black Berries (60 calories)
  • 1 cup frozen Mango (107 calories)
  • 1/2 cup frozen Pineapple (40 calories)
  • 2 cups Orange Juice (220 calories)


For a mid morning snack I had a slice of Whole Wheat Grain toast and slice of Baby Swiss Cheese totally 180 calories.

For lunch (I'm just now eating...bad I know, but it's been a crazy day) has 365 calories and is made up of:
  • 1 cup Brown Rice (220 calories)
  • 1/2 cup Black Beans (115 calories)
  • 3 tablespoons Sweet Chile Sauce (30 calories)
Just got home from the grocery store where I swear everyone in town was at my grocery store at the same time! All 12 lanes open and 4-5 people in each lane!!! It was insane, I hate grocery shopping with that many people!

I'm not watching the X-games and cooking my brown rice! I love rally car racing! And I can smell it my brown rice...yum!



Today's run will be inside. I'll probably hit the treadmill at the gym for a 4 miler later tonight. Too humid to run outside today. Luckily my head/neck is feeling better from that miss-step the other day! But, I had a nightmare last night that I wasn't prepared for my half marathon...freaked me out a little, so I need to make sure I do this run today!

  1. The smoothie looks yummy! I've been making smoothies lately since it seems like the heat is making my less hungry, which really isn't a good thing since I need to eat in order to run. I've been drinking "green monsters", which is basically a fruit smoothie with spinach added in. I definitely make sure to brush my teeth afterwards or else I'll have a green smile. :)

    Glad to hear that head/neck is feeling better!
