Chicago bound!

Yeah, I said it, this chick is heading to Chicago!

Today I signed up for my very first full marathon. I figure, go big or go home, right?

10/10/10 - ready or not, here I come!

The plan: running it with my bff and my dad.

Who else is doing it?

Not to overshadow the 3 races before Chicago: Austin Half Marathon, Capitol 10k, and San Francisco Half Marathon.

  1. Ok, this is RIDICULOUS! I'm besides myself right now. Let me confess that I was so confused as to which marathon you signed up for. I was thinking SF but now, I know it's CHIIIIIIIICAGO! Holy expletive. Is October here yet?

  5. Exciting. I see you and Penny (Planet Ynepp) are running the SF Half. Hmm, this is in my backyard... maybe I might think about this. Which half are you running, 1st or 2nd?

  8. How exciting! I've run this race the past 4 years (I don't think I'll be doing it this year though) and it's truly a blast. I think sometime over the summer I'm going to be running the course in bite size pieces and take pictures for the out of town folks along the way, highlighting the great areas...the most mentally tough sections, and all that jazz! :)
