I love Austin. I've lived here for about 4 years now and each day, I really do think I fall in love with the city a little more. On Friday my husband and I headed out to one of the dozens of food trailers in Austin; Odd Duck. Never having tried it, but hearing tons of raves, we were anxious to go. The philosophy of the trailer is local and seasonal with the menu changing daily. The owner/founder also recently started a new restaurant in town: Barley and Swine, which is phenomenal!
The food was amazing! It's BYOB and they take credit cards...two note worthy facts to mention! Below is the: Pork belly slider with bread and butter jalapenos, arugula, and aioli // Grilled corn and zucchini salad, arugula, ricotta, thyme and garlic dressing // Pork shoulder on baguette. At the very bottom is the: Peter pan squash stuffed with rice and goat or lamb (couldn't remember).
